You have always wanted to know how the Eskimos live? Then take on this challenge and build an iglo with us! This experience is not only fun, but also strengthens team spirit, trust, self-confidence and last but not least the fitness of the participants. Only together can this goal be achieved! Wild animal feeding

A unique trip into the unknown world of the wild animals of the Alps. The shy red deer with their powerful antlers and the does with their almost one year old calves are dependent on feeding in the winter due to the increasing use of the landscape by us humans in the Alps. Enjoy this wonderful, inspiring and interesting excursion.

Husky Power

At the sled dog workshop, every animal friend will get his money worth. Here you will learn not only everything about the correct handling of these wonderful animals but also to ride a dogsled. The fast-paced dog sledding tour will show how enduring and powerful the animals really are!   Children’s adventure day: Let your little ones discover the world of sleddogs during the Husky adventure day for children. Your child will get to know the dogs and become familiar with them. Husky experiences for kids are a great event for your little one, which will remain unforgettable.


Tobogganing in the Gastein Valley is more than entertaining! On the wooden sleds, which resemble in every detail those used for the transport of mountain hay in the past, you quickly descend down into the valley. Curve technique and balance are needed when parents try to catch up with their children! A sleigh ride becomes a special experience when you ride down to the valley after dark.   Bad Gastein: Natural sleigh rides run from Bellevue-Alm, length 2,5 km (illuminated) Ascent with the Bellevue-Alm chair lift, also in the evening.   Bad Hofgastein: Natural toboggan run Aeroplan, length 3,300 m ascent with the Schlossalm lift up to the middle station Kitzstein   Dorfgastein: Natural toboggan run Strohlehenalm, length approx. 2 km All-day use, several times a week illuminated in the evening

Palmen auf Almen

A combination of exotic flair and winter magic is offered by the ‘Palmen auf dem Almen’ event. When the cold season draws to a close, skiing in the sun alongside a unique scenery of palm trees is the first sign of the summer. Furthermore, Caribbean sounds and tasty cocktails will reward you with exotic hours.


In Filzmoos you can discover the mountain world from the air. Depending on the direction of the wind, these trips lead either along the mighty Dachstein Massif or to the area of Radstadt or Abtenau. Approx. 1 hour travel time with the balloon, complete with start preparation, landing, bak trip with the tracking vehicle 4-5 hours, journey time to the starting point (Filzmoos) approx. 1 hour. Warm clothing including hat or cap, gloves and good footwear are a must
